Obituary for Tami Ann Andersson
Tami Ann (Livengood) Andersson passed away suddenly April 29th 2020 at the age of 59. Tami grew up in Renton, WA., where she attended Hazen High School. She took great pride in being a Systems Analyst for Boeing over her 28 years where she made many friends. Tami was born in Auburn, WA. on December 21st, 1960. Survived by son Myles Andersson,( Liz), granddaughter Isabelle, grandson Lincoln, Parents Lynn and JoAnn Livengood, sister Keri Brown (Mark), brother Greg Livengood (Ali), nephews and nieces, Sarah, Mathew, Calvin, Katie and Lily.
Tami was a fun loving social kid who loved to ride her bike and spend time at her Nanny’s Lake 12 property. Many weekends were spent swimming where she was always the last one out of the water. She enjoyed photography and spent hours in her dark room at home. After high school she started working at Boeing and eventually became a Systems Analyst for the AOG group where she had won awards for her input on work processes. She loved her job.
Tami’s son Myles was born in 1984, she loved being his Mom. Reading was very important to her and she made sure there were always new books to enjoy. She was always so proud of him, when he joined the Army she attended his boot camp graduation at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. She loved being a grandmother to Isabelle and Lincoln.
“Aunti Tami” was the fun aunt to her nieces and nephews. Camping in Roslyn included a pink tent, coffee maker and a very long extension cord. She took people at face value. She had a heart of gold and helped out those in need with buying groceries or a little extra cash. Her love of music, especially Rock and Roll included Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix , The Doors, Pink Floyd and above all Led Zeppelin and she had the T-shirt and photo collection to prove it.
Tami loved her pets, her dream was to have a kennel one day. She came close with her dogs Cotton, Baby, Sadie, Chico, Tina, and cats Chloe and Jade, she found great comfort and companionship spending time with them.
Tami’s family and friends were most important to her, she would attend as many get-together’s as she could. Tami enjoyed needlepoint, cooking family recipes, traveling to visit her sons family in Texas, shopping for her (Janis Joplin inspired) wardrobe, and getting her hair and nails done. Being independent was everything to Tami and she fought for a very long time to keep it . We will miss her laugh, sense of humor and caring heart.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Remembrances may be made in her behalf to your local food bank.
Poem selection from family:
Thank You
-Led Zeppelin
If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
When mountains crumble to the sea
There will still be you and me
Kind woman, I give you my all
Kind woman, nothing more
Little drops of rain whisper of the pain
Tears of loves lost in the days gone by
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong
Together we shall go until we die
My, my, my inspiration is what you are to me
Inspiration look, see
And so today, my world it smiles
Your hand in mine, we walk the miles
Thanks to you…
