Obituary For Robin Zebley Bartlett

Robin passed away peacefully with her sister, Barbara, by her side on the morning of December 22, 2019. Her husband and love of 27 years, Roy, was able to say goodbye a few hours before she slipped away to join her parents, Hank and Ruth, in Heaven.

Thank-you to the staff at Judson Skilled Nursing Facility for making Robin’s and Roy’s last hours together as comfortable as possible. Many thanks to all of Robin’s doctors who supported her in fighting the cancer. Robin & Roy fought and won many extra months and were able to host a large family gathering this last Thanksgiving.

As anyone who her knew her, Robin was such an inspiration and source of humor and wisdom to all who had the pleasure of calling her friend. To all of us Robin was the epitome of a gentile woman filled with dignity, optimism in the face of great health struggles, strength, heart, authenticity and swagger!

Although there is an empty space in our homes and hearts, it can be filled with the joy, laughter, thoughts, and opinions that we wouldn’t have shared it we hadn’t met Robin.

The family will not be having any ceremonies and they request that in lieu of flowers you make a donation in Robin's name to your favorite charity.

May she rest in Peace until we all can meet again.

    I knew Robin in junior high school and high school, until she moved to a beautiful home on Dahlia in Eagle Rock. Robin was brilliant beyond her years. I've often wondered what she was doing, so I searched for her and found she had passed. I feel lucky to have the good memories of knowing her.

    Robin was always so Pleasant and a funny gal in the past four years that I've gotten to know her. What a wonderful spirit and happy gal... Fearless & amazingly positive. I wanted her happiness & motivation and hopefully that will come to me. To Roy, I pray for you. Much love surrounds you and please always remember that. And always know, her beautiful spirit is still around loving you.

    It has taken a long while to come up with enough words to describe Robin and how much she meant to me. She was a confidante, a sister, a truth teller and a shining star. The Friday nights and holidays spent with Robin and Roy are some of my best memories of living in Seattle. You will be missed dear Robin....sending all our love to you Roy.
