I enjoyed visiting and walking with Parker. He was a rascal. I remember visiting him when he was incarcerated, and I believe he did a little better when incarcerated, but I know I didn't see everything he was going through. Parker wanted to please his parents and make them proud, but he openly confessed to habits which would frustrate his efforts. I was helping Parker to battle his demons in an effort to battle mine. He was very helpful to me, and I miss him - very much. I miss our walks and our visits. I was shocked at how quickly he left us. Dang it. As our nation expresses frustration in our opioid pandemic, our family mourns our loss of Parker - caught up in this madness. Dang it. I love and miss you, Parker!

Parker really did love to make people laugh! That's the thing I remember the most about him. The last time I saw him he was a child and Danielle and I were teenagers. He was Danielle's little brother, who'd been cracking jokes and making us laugh literally from the time he was a tiny kid in his car seat. Whenever he saw people laugh at his jokes his face lit up with happiness. Since Dec., I've been thinking about you all daily, wondering what to say and do. Words can't remove pain, even though we probably all wish they could. Yet, hopefully love and community support provide some comfort as you all cope with the pain of loss and heal over the years. I'm sure Parker would want you all to be extra kind to yourselves and give yourselves time to grieve and heal, because that's a long process. He'd want you to cry when you need to cry. And he'd want you to continue to remember his jokes and funny moments to make you laugh when you need laughter. Much love to all of you!

Parker was a kind soul. He grow up with my boys and spend many day and night at our house. As they grow they lost touch with each other but still always seem to keep watch of each other's doings. We will miss you Parker. This world will not be the same without you in it. Peace be with the family and May God keep you close and comforted. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and may Parker Rest In Peace.❤️
