Obituary For Newton Henry Shearer III

Trey Newton Henry Shearer III, 56, passed away at his home in Seattle, WA, on July 23rd after a hard-fought battle with kidney disease. Trey was a graduate of Dobyns Bennett high school.

One of Trey’s fondest Kingsport accolades was his time spent as WKPT’s Randy Panda. Trey was an avid lover of computers and graphic design. He was a Trekkie to the core. Trey was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Lou Shearer and Dr. Newton Henry Shearer Jr. Trey is survived by his sister, Layne Shearer Willen, brother-in-law Bronson Willen, nephews Gene Lady III and Dylan Jantz, plus a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly. Private family services will be held at a later date.
