Nancy Larsen

Obituary For Nancy Larsen

Nancy Larsen passed away Friday morning September 30th at her home in Maple Valley, WA. Born on February 10th , 1933 in Boone, IA. Raised by Clell (C.V.) and Lois Waychoff in Boone. She was very proud of her father who became President of the Historical Boone Blank Book Company. She attended Iowa State University with a BS degree in Nutrition, with her residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MI. Married Donald E. Larsen in 1957 and moved to Aberdeen, WA. where she worked as a Dietitian for the Community Hospital. Having two sons in 1961 and 1969, before moving to Danbury, CT. in 1974. Then back to Washington and Maple Valley in 1977. Divorced in 1981 she opened a Daycare Center from her home and later as a nanny. She was highly recommended in the community and great with the kids. She also enjoyed playing her organ, music and reading romance novels. She is survived by her two children. Jim Larsen in Las Cruces, NM. And Bill Larsen in Maple Valley, WA. She will be missed..

    Macy watched our kids for us for a few years in the early 2000s. She was very nice and made us feel comfortable about our kids being watched while we were away at work. Condolences to her family.
