Obituary For Leonard “Lenny” D Clancy

Leonard “Lenny” D. Clancy, aged 61, of Seattle Washington, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. He was born in Gary, Indiana. Lenny was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ located in Gary, Indiana where he would attend every time he visited home. Lenny is proceeded in death by his late parents, Jury L. Clancy & Rayford Mason (stepfather). Lenny is survived by his siblings, Carl E. Clancy & Cassandra Clancy, and (godmother) Hubertine Brooks. Lenny is survived by his uncle and aunts, Arthur “Daisy” Ware, Ruby “Paul” Carroll, & Maxine Allen. His survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Lenny was very family oriented & a spiritual person. Lenny will forever be loved and missed!

    There are no words to express how I will miss talking to my uncle and the many laughs we have shared. I will truly miss him calling me a week before my birthday to say, “Happy Birthday, I was first.” As I would attempt to call him a week before his. I am at peace to know he has reunited with my grandmother in Heaven. I love you and miss you sooo much! I will continue to pray for healing for our family and his friends. with love from Tianna
