Obituary For Leo James LeBlanc

Hello everyone, it’s me Leo aka LeLe boy. You may have heard rumors of my situation. I don’t need to tell you my birthdate I am a Gemini and my life path number is 7.

I passed at 2:25pm(pst) April 12th, on Easter Sunday in a leap year no less - just to make sure you never forget. I was surrounded by my loved ones, my daughter Aly, my good friend Juli, my two sisters Julie and Pat and my good friend Carla.

During my life I had many titles - son, brother, father, lover, humorist, drummer, airman, lab tech, poet, writer, naturopath, herbalist and too many more to name.

I have left my father, daughter, sisters, partner and countless relatives and soul connections on this earthly plane while I go playing in the stars.

I have not gotten my wings yet between COVID-19 and social distancing the lines are unworldly long for custom wings and you know how I hate lines. Thinking of bribing John Prine to save my place with lyric coaching, while I explore my new digs.

My life was a tapestry and if anyone saw me dress you know why they would say that.

Due to the current health crisis, a celebration of my life will be held at a later date. So instead we are going to have a small celebration of my life with people representing my herbalist, naturopathic, music communities and family and friends.

Please don’t send flowers, they won’t last very long, why don’t you donate to any cancer research organization that focuses on naturopathic treatment.

I had a blast and knowing YOU, was awesome.

Don’t cry for me I’ll be fine. I will take your prayers with me. Gonna be playing my drums and chilling with Bob Marley, Jimi ​ Hendrix and Lenny White. So wipe your tears away and enjoy life. I’ll see you on the other side.

I will leave you with this.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, “Wow what a ride!”

    Only God knows how much I am going to miss you man. You were always inspiring, never a disparaging work. When I would ask you how is life, you would always say 'life is good'. Jesus Christ surrounds himself with angels, so maybe that's why he chose you. You would always say life is an opportunity, it's purpose is left to the individual. I don't know what to tell you Lee. But I do know that I am going to miss you. God bless you Lee. Have peace with God our Father Jesus Christ. He will protect you I am sure.. What I should have taught you, you are teaching me.     A gentle man, great kindness of spirit and soul. He always made me smile. I know he indulged my ineptitude at Cribbage and smiled. He bought me Lavender Ice Cream and flowers for my birthday. When I moved to Texas, he advised me to learn to say "Gawd Bless 'Mercia" without breaking into a sweat ". I am learning to say with a slight Texas drawl. I am sure his next journey will be enriched by his journey here. He will exalt in his custom tapestry Angel wings, and share jokes with John Prine.

You taught us many things beside that, and we will carry that with us forever.
