Obituary For Lawrence Wong

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence “Larry” Wong announces his passing on November 8, 2021 at 74 years old.

Lawrence Wong was born in Yakima county on April 11, 1947 to Eugene and Darleen. ​

Native to Washington, Larry served with the U.S. Marine Corps as corporal in Vietnam, returning home honorably discharged and continuing a humble career as a Judo champion. He was also known to enjoy the occasional walks through China Town in Seattle.

Larry will be dearly missed by his sister Gloria, who wishes to extend a special thanks to Veterans Administration of Puget Sound healthcare system. Lawrence will be laid to rest at Tacoma National Cemetery
