Obituary For Judy Louise Bornstein
Judy passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on September 29, 2021, in Burien, Washington. She was 73 years old. She was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up on Mercer Island.
She went to California for a short time after high school, eventually relocating to south Seattle where she got involved with a local church. There, she became a kindergarten teacher at the Christian school for several years. This was a job she loved and she forged life-long friendships. After leaving education, she worked at Ceebs Imagineering, an advertising event planning business with an inspirational gift store, that she made her own. As the office manager, She was an integral part of bringing the business from a 2 person business, to 12 people, and from a 600 square foot studio, to a 5,000 square foot building with a gift shop. She also had her own business there called Bringing it Home. She forged life-long friendships with the gals she worked with there as well. She and her sister Joan, also had a small business for a short time along the same line, named J J ‘s.
In 1988 she married the love of her life Alan Bornstein. They owned their modest 2 bedroom home on North Hill in Des Moines, Washington, where they hosted hundreds of friends throughout their marriage. Judy was a lovely woman of God, she loved Jesus, and His Word. She loved to pray with people. She was a homemaker, a lovely wife and a lovely friend. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her sister Joan Jackson, and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held for both Judy and Alan Bornstein on November 13th, at 2:00 pm Overcomer Church, 33415 Military Rd S., Auburn, Washington, 98001
