Dennis Murray McLaughlin

Obituary For Dennis Murray McLaughlin

Dennis Murray McLaughlin passed away peacefully on February 14, 2020 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 76. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 2, 1943 to Margaret Claire Johnson and Basil Murray McLaughlin. Dennis was a resident of Seattle, WA for the majority of his life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 – 1964 as a PO2. Dennis had two daughters. He is preceded in death by his daughter Christina Yoshika. Anna Lee lives in California.

Dennis is survived by sisters, Kathleen Ogden, and Diane Lougheed, and half brothers, Kevin and Michael McLaughlin.

Dennis will be laid to rest on Monday, March 2nd in the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

Donations may be made in the memory of Dennis M. McLaughlin to the VA Puget Sound Fisher House in Seattle, WA.

    My Brother Dennis will always hold a special place in my heart. Dennis and I as kids had a lot of fun together from being on a raft together in Green Lake to watching him set off his fireworks as kids to camping in the Redwoods to roasting marshmallows and making yummy s’mores. Dennis you were a talented carpenter and your projects were beautiful. And then Dennis you were a wonderful artist just like Mother. I will miss your calls and cards. I am so glad you have no more pain and are at rest. I will miss you Dennis you were my only brother I love you your sister Kathy
