Obituary For Denise Marie Goulet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise (Kesey) Marie Goulet on March 6th, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Denise was born on March 17, 1954 in Vancouver, WA to parents Placid (Roy) Goulet, and Dorothy (Dottie) Goulet. While her family lived in Camas, WA for ten years, Denise developed a special bond with a plump black and white bunny (Nuzi) thus beginning her lifelong love for all God's creatures from horses to dogs, to rabbits, turtles and snails. She especially enjoyed all the family summer vacation trips to Priest Lake, Idaho where she enjoyed new and old friendships, riding horses, boating, swimming and water skiing.

She later grew up in South Seattle and graduated from Glacier High School. She really enjoyed her many years of employment at Rainier Golf and Country Club, where planting flowers was her specialty. After leaving the golf course, she continued her excellent gardening skills at her parents and brother's homes, sometimes weeding and planting from sun-up to well after sun-down.

She loved sharing stories and conversation at family gatherings and enjoyed going to Thursday night family dinners. She was a creative thinker , choosing whimsical nicknames for her family and friends. (Old Coot, Baucky, Bonus Burger, Grunt Grunt, Goobs, SoDans, Hello Kitty and Chatty Cathy) Kesey was a talented photographer, painter and pottery designer. She loved collecting trinkets and treasures , and enjoyed sharing them with family and friends. She cherished her family and friends, sharing a special bond with lifelong friends Jeff and Cathy. She was a lighthearted spirit and spiritual thinker.

She leaves behind her father Roy Goulet, age 96, and beloved brothers Lonnie (Annie) Goulet and Bruce (Sandy) Goulet. She was preceded in death by her devoted and caring mother, Dottie Goulet.

Her loving free spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. May you rest in peace, Kesey, in the arms of your Heavenly Father. There will be no services per her request. Any donation to your favorite charity in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
