Obituary For Cynthia Elaine Murphy

Cynthia, Cindy was born on December 15, 1953, in Renton, Washington and passed away September 19, 2022 at the age of 68 due to cardiac arrest in Seattle, Washington. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents Frederick T. Sawyer and Willia Gashe-Sawyer, her sister Patricia Bolsted, her husband Alan Murphy.

Cynthia is survived by her longtime partner Robert Evans, her sister Debbie Gifford, brother Phillip Van Horn, Her sons, David Steen and his wife Beverly, Mark Steen and his wife Tayla, and her grandchildren Jake, Nick, and Matthew, and her cats Ally and Abby. All of these she loved and cared for deeply.

Cindy was born in Renton, Washington and lived most of her life in the Renton and Burien areas. She graduated from Hazen High School in Renton, WA.

Cindy Worked for LBA in SeaTac, Washington for 30 years. She loved the people she worked for; many she considered like family. When she wasn’t working Cindy loved spending time with family and friends. Cindy loved going to music concerts and dancing. She spent many weekends and holidays going to her property in Eastern Washington where she loved the peace she felt there.

Cindy will be in our hearts forever and deeply missed.
