Recent Obituaries

Connie passed away after a brief illness in Federal Way, Washington. A Seattle area native, she spent the last half of her life in Federal Way. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Mike, and is survived by her 3 children and their families. The youngest of seven children, she is also survived by her older sister, her sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Connie enjoyed family gatherings and loved spending time with her granddaughter, granddogs, and all her nieces and nephews and their families. Connie also enjoyed traveling. Over the years she and Mike were able to travel the country, and to visit family in Ireland and Norway. They made many memorable trips with Mike’s brother and his wife. After retirement she volunteered with the local food bank and was active in the Federal Way Lions Club. Mom will be laid to rest with Dad at Tahoma Veterans Cemetery in Kent. If you would like to do something in her memory, a tribute made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
