Obituary For Carolyn Marie McCullouch Stewart
Carolyn Marie McCullouch Stewart, known affectionately as Carolyn, passed away peacefully at her home in Kent, Washington on August 15, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born on September 25, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Green McCullouch Jr and Lessie B. Mosley, and her beloved daughter Nikita Stelly. She is survived by her loving family members: Chastity M McCullouch, Lakesha D McCray (Terry), Ronnie A Mitchell Jr, Marguerite M Mitchell, Daryl Lee Jr (Brenda), as well as 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A compassionate and outgoing individual, Carolyn touched the lives of many in her community with her giving spirit and kind nature. She graduated with an associate degree from Southern University in Louisiana but chose not to pursue a traditional career, dedicating her time to spreading love and positivity to those around her.
Carolyn’s personal traits of generosity, kindness, strength, and love made her truly special to all who knew her. She was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms, always standing up for what she believed in and offering a helping hand to those in need.
Services to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held at Cady Cremation and Memorial Services in Kent, Washington. In this difficult time, the family kindly requests that their privacy and mourning process be respected.
As friends and family gather to honor Carolyn’s memory, they will remember her for her remarkable warmth, her unwavering spirit, and the countless lives she touched with her selflessness and love. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
