Obituary For Susan Jean Collison
Susan Jean Collison, of Kent Washington and Sun Lakes Arizona, passed away suddenly on November 27th, 2023, at the age of 74. Susan was born in Owosso Michigan, the daughter of Jean Louise (Martin) Collison and Harold Alton Collison. Susan grew up in Kensington, Maryland. She attended Garret Park Elementary School, Kensington Jr. High School and Walter Johnson High School. Susan received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Maryland, and taught 4 years in the Montgomery County, Maryland school system. In 1976 she moved to the Seattle area and was hired by the military division of Boeing, where she worked for 36 years. She enjoyed art, especially DeGrazia’s work and theater. She is survived by her brother Mark Collison, her nephew Matthew Collison and her grandniece Velvet Collison, all of Davenport, Iowa.
