Lynda Jeanne Bolster, 83, of Kent, Washington, passed away on August 16, 2026. Born on May 24, 1943, in British Columbia, Canada, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Lenore Galer. Lynda later married James Bolster, with whom she shared many years of marriage.

She is survived by her sons Hershel Rand Spencer and Kenneth Shelby Bolster, as well as her stepdaughters Sue Anaya, Debi Birgen, Charolette Marrison, and Anne Russell. Her grandchildren include Angie Anaya, Michael Anaya, James Marrison, Jared Russell, Wesley Bolster, Shea Bolster, and Travis Bolster. She is also survived by her siblings Stephen Galer, Mark Galer, Cynthia Beaman, and Jennifer Galer.

Lynda found genuine joy in her creative pursuits. She loved sewing, often working on detailed projects that reflected her skill and patience. She enjoyed cooking, especially experimenting with new dishes and recipes. She also spent time gardening. As a member of a quilt club, she found fulfillment in shared creativity and craftsmanship — a part of her life that brought her true happiness.

A funeral service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
