Obituary For Serenity L Herold

On May 8th, 2025, my beautiful wife, Serenity Lynn Herold, left this earth to join her father and our Heavenly Father after many years of ups and downs with her health. She was born on December 31st, 1980 in Renton, WA, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of May 8th, 2025 at the age of 44 in her home in Kent, WA.

Despite her health problems, Serenity was a beautiful person, as well as being wonderfully driven. Driven to help other people, driven to be the best wife and mother that she could be given those health issues, and driven to succeed which is why, even with being bedbound, she was able to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and had started to work toward her Masters. On top of this, she was a wonderful mother, a loving, caring, and understanding wife, and a beautiful soul.

Serenity was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Mitchell, and is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jeremy Herold, her son, Sen Herold, and her mother, Debra Mitchell.

The viewing service will be held Friday, June 13th, at Cady Cremation & Funeral Services, 8418 S. 222nd St, Kent, WA 98031 between 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM, followed by a graveside burial service at 1:15 PM with a 30 minute allotment for prayers, statements, and the sharing of memories.
