Sandra Charlton, lovingly known as Sandee Brown, was born in California to Margarite Webber and Silas Charlton.

Sandra spent her early years in California before relocating to Washington State. She attended Peninsula High School, where she began forming lifelong friendships and creative passions that would define her life.

Known to her family and friends as generous, adventurous and artistic, Sandee had a gift for seeing beauty in the world around her. She expressed that creativity through painting, decorating, and hosting gatherings, in warm welcoming spaces that brought people together.

Her dedication to the children of the community was recognized with a Pierce County Volunteer of the Year Award, recognizing her decades of work with CASA as a GAL.

Sandra is survived by her beloved children, Jerry Brown, Debra Brown and Tasha Brown.

Sandra's life was marked by creativity, individuality, and love. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.
