Obituary for Leo James LeBlanc

Hello everyone, it’s me Leo aka LeLe boy. You may have heard
rumors of my situation. I don’t need to tell you my birthdate I am
a Gemini and my life path number is 7.

I passed at 2:25pm(pst) April 12th, on Easter Sunday in a leap
year no less - just to make sure you never forget. I was
surrounded by my loved ones, my daughter Aly, my good friend Juli,
my two sisters Julie and Pat and my good friend Carla.

During my life I had many titles - son, brother, father, lover,
humorist, drummer, airman, lab tech, poet, writer, naturopath,
herbalist and too many more to name.

I have left my father, daughter, sisters, partner and countless
relatives and soul connections on this earthly plane while I go
playing in the stars.

I have not gotten my wings yet between COVID-19 and social
distancing the lines are unworldly long for custom wings and you
know how I hate lines. Thinking of bribing John Prine to save my
place with lyric coaching, while I explore my new digs.

My life was a tapestry and if anyone saw me dress you know why
they would say that.

Due to the current health crisis, a celebration of my life will be
held at a later date. So instead we are going to have a small
celebration of my life with people representing my herbalist,
naturopathic, music communities and family and friends.

Please don’t send flowers, they won’t last very long, why don’t
you donate to any cancer research organization that focuses on
naturopathic treatment.

I had a blast and knowing YOU, was awesome.

Don’t cry for me I’ll be fine. I will take your prayers with me.
Gonna be playing my drums and chilling with Bob Marley, Jimi
Hendrix and Lenny White. So wipe your tears away and enjoy life.
I’ll see you on the other side.

I will leave you with this.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming,
“Wow what a ride!”

Brother from-another-mother of Light, your Long Deep Hugs continue to move hearts forward; your voice is like a Disney Bear that teaches responsibility. You are the personification of 'Joie de Vivre' with your Dance of unwavering perseverance (as you show in this video ~;~ ~;~). You said "Little Wing" by Hendrix reminds you of your Mom; the song also releases feelings other souls have for you! ...yeah, Deal with it! Thank you for washing and tickling-Allah these feet, when the foot path got fashion-hat red, ostrich-white, and Detroit-Stooges / B.B.King blue. Thank you for jaywalking confidently as Good Leaders *dare* to do. May your new digs have an endless library of divine arts, by an infinite Light rail of exploration, and a comfortable hammock for contemplation. ~*~ Know Tomorrow and Today YOU ARE LOVED!

Leo, I could literally write a book on just your genuine kindness alone, the fact that you Truly Loved People no matter what. Thank you for changing the World Man, yes you did that trust just has to catch up to what you did. And as you always said everytime, "I Love You" I say it back, as always! -Darrius Adams

Only God knows how much I am going to miss you man. You were always inspiring, never a disparaging work. When I would ask you how is life, you would always say 'life is good'. Jesus Christ surrounds himself with angels, so maybe that's why he chose you. You would always say life is an opportunity, it's purpose is left to the individual. I don't know what to tell you Lee. But I do know that I am going to miss you. God bless you Lee. Have peace with God our Father Jesus Christ. He will protect you I am sure.. What I should have taught you, you are teaching me. When I think of you I think of life. Never a negative thought or ill will. I get emotional when I think of you. God bless you Lee, Bye Bye. Love you LeLe boy. Until we meet again. Dad.

With all my thoughts. I didn't know you very much, but family is family. It is a great loss for your parents, but even with the distance we think of you and we give you our support. With all our loves.

A gentle man, great kindness of spirit and soul. He always made me smile. I know he indulged my ineptitude at Cribbage and smiled. He bought me Lavender Ice Cream and flowers for my birthday. When I moved to Texas, he advised me to learn to say "Gawd Bless 'Mercia" without breaking into a sweat ". I am learning to say with a slight Texas drawl. I am sure his next journey will be enriched by his journey here. He will exalt in his custom tapestry Angel wings, and share jokes with John Prine.

You were the ear that would always listen. You were an anti depressant in human form. I wish I could have another one of our porch debates. You always knew the words that someone needed to hear. I love you my dear brother.

Our dear friend, you have made the most unbearable moments something to laugh at, and you taught us that it is indeed possible to be there for other humans unconditionally, no matter how tough things could be. You taught us many things beside that, and we will carry that with us forever. I feel that you are now a light on my heart, you'll be sitting there till this universe no longer exists, hugging me when my soul most needs. I'll say 'No big deal. It's gonna be okay." And you'll say 'No shit, Sherlock.' You were an amazing friend to me, but you were even way beyond that for Josh and I will never forget the wisdom and strength you gave him. Thank you for the music, the laughter, the hugs and the 'Now, it's going to be a good day' feeling whenever we saw you.. Till next time, friend, you'll never be forgotten. PS: Tell Datca we love her, and miss her dearly, she'll love you...

Leo, have known you my entire life and you have been nothing but kind, generous and uplifting. You were an incredible son, brother, dad, cousin and most importantly friend (and drummer). We have all lost a piece of us today but for me, and I'm hoping for many, you will continue to be an inspiration. I will never forget you cuz.

Leo had the most immense heart and giving spirit of anyone that I have ever met. I am grateful for the blessing of having been able to call him friend and he will always occupy a space in my heart. He was truly a beautiful soul. My heart goes out to Leo's family and friends. I hope that there is comfort in all the wonderful memories he's left us with.

Dearest Leo, You gave me the ultimate gift and the world is a better place because of her. You often reminded me that, whatever our differences, we made an awesome human being. She is in so much pain now, missing you exponentially; yet I know she will be guided by your love and wisdom throughout her life. I am so sad for your entire family, and especially Tommy. No one should have to lose two children so young. My love to all the LeBlancs. Kathy
