Obituary For Kathryn "Kitty" Marie Harrison

Kathryn "Kitty" Marie Harrison, 61, of SeaTac, WA, passed away on April 23, 2025. She was born on November 14, 1963 in Seattle, WA and was adopted by Donald Eugene Kulp and Tennie Marie Brienen (Runyon).

With a free-spirited heart, Kitty embraced life’s simple pleasures. She found pure joy in spending time with her grandchildren, passing down wisdom with every laugh and hug. In the kitchen, she worked her magic—cooking hearty meals and baking treats that brought people together because her dishes were "made with love" as she would say with a cheeky wink. Her creativity flowed, whether she was getting lost in the pages of a book or crafting something thoughtful and beautiful with her crochet hook. Gardening was her sanctuary, a place where she nurtured life, and her love for travel kept her curious, exploring new places and meeting new people. As we say goodbye, we celebrate her life, her warmth, and the connections she made. She will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Kulp and Tennie Brienen. She is survived by her son, Joseph Kulp (Jessica) and two grandchildren, Olivia and Evan Kulp of Woodstock, GA; her brother and two sisters, David Kulp (Paula) of Orting, WA, Charlotte Gleason (Jeff) of Auburn, WA, and Deborah Jensen of Lake Elmo, MN; two half-siblings, Eric Provencher (Ginger) of Oatmeal, TX, and Shane Aydelott (Mavis) of Aloha, OR; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her long-time best friend, Debbie Haafke Kim of Seattle, WA.

A memorial service will be held in the coming months for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in remembrance of Kitty.
