Obituary For Eleanor Arlisle Yaranon
Our beloved mother Eleanor Yaranon passed away on January 9, 2024, and went to be with the Lord at the age of 86. Previously departed was Eleanor's husband Galo Yaranon; they shared 25 years of marriage. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and coworkers. She retired from the City of Seattle Water Dept in October 1996 after working there for 25 years. She also devoted many years to volunteering as Financial Secretary and miscellaneous activities at Lakeridge Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Debbie Golly (Jim Golly), Ron Syth, and Bonita Syth. Her step-children: Anthony Yaranon & Rose Yaranon. Her grandchildren are Brian Golly (Stephanie Golly), Shannon Golly, Ron Jr Syth (April Syth) & Malisa Thompson (Jon Thompson). She also leaves behind step-grandchildren: Latisha Yaranon (Joseph Nagel), Tara Yaranon (Corey Cimball), Danielle Yaranon (Kyle Kline), Issac Yaranon (predeceased), and Skye Yaranon (Debbie Yaranon).
Additionally, she was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren.
She will also be fondly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Karl Schrade, along with several nieces and nephews.
She will be in our hearts and greatly missed until we are all again united together with our Lord & Savior!
John 11:25: "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."
