Obituary For Betty Jean Mouser

Our Special Valentine

In loving memory of Betty Jean (Crease) Mouser, (Jun 29, 1927-Feb 14, 2019) gone one year ago today - a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Betty (Sissy) was born Jun 29, 1927 in Wichita, KS. Although being raised and living there almost 30 years, she eventually spent many of her adult years in Phoenix, AZ, Anchorage, AK and Seattle, WA.

She married Don Mouser in 1945 in California when he was in the Merchant Marines. They had been married 51 years at the time of his death in 1996.

Sissy was very talented in many areas but especially sewing and needlework. She loved to make clothes, household furnishings and did some upholstering. But most of all she loved her family. She could always be found at sports events for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was surrounded by all her family when she passed except for one young great granddaughter who lives out of town and a great grandson who is in the Navy. She leaves her daughter, Barb Hardin, 3 grandchildren, Seth and Saul Hardin and Sarah Tedrick, and 10 great grandchildren, Taylor, Delaina, Maddie, Cyrus, Dominic, Isaiah and Lincoln Hardin, and Luke, Noah and Jacob Tedrick.

I will always remember her picture of Jesus on her fridge on which she wrote in pencil..her best friend. I may have the exact quote wrong. Barb knows. She is in our eternal home now. Full of joy unspeakable.

So thankful for the short time I had with my great Aunt Betty. She was so funny and smart. I especially enjoyed how we had a connection to my grandparents. Raymond Leroy and Jerreta Dean Mouser.
