Obituary For Shirley Coleman-Haynes

Shirley Jean Coleman was born on July 24, 1946 in Charleston, MO to Clarence and Roberta (Scott) Coleman. Shirley passed away at the age of 73, on November 10, 2019, at Valley Medical Center, Renton, WA.

Shirley moved to Chicago Heights, IL in the late 70s, where she obtained her cosmetology license. She worked as a self-employed hair stylist for many years before relocating to Tukwila, WA and marrying her childhood friend, Robert Haynes. After relocating to Tukwila, she worked in housekeeping at Washington Care Center in Seattle, WA for 20 years before retiring.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, Freddie Coleman, Ozell Coleman, and Julius Coleman, her daughter Davida Coleman, and her granddaughter Chaurdae Washington. She is survived by her brother Henry (Brenda) Coleman, sister Roberta Jones, daughter Carla Coleman, sons Howard (Angela) Coleman, Terrance Coleman, and Calvert Coleman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
