Obituary For Michael T Hale

Mike Hale passed March 12, 2019 at Renton Valley Medical Center. He was on his way to his 37th chemo treatment. He battled cancer for 2 years. He was brave, strong and kind throughout all of this – always putting his wife and boys first.

Mike was born June 12, 1955, in San Francisco to Mary and Nathan Hale. Mike graduated from Casa Roble High School in 1973. He worked for the State of California fighting fires. He then joined the Army where he served for 8 years. After his discharge, Mike attended technical college and worked as an RV tech for over 20 years. He was well respected in the industry and enjoyed the challenge of solving problems and helping his friends.

Mike’s favorite past times were camping and fishing – especially with the members of his beloved Buck and a Half Club for over 20 years.

Above all else, Mike loved his boys – Brad and Brett – with his whole heart. He was a single dad, worked full time, did Boy Scouts, baseball and football – whether he was coaching, leading or on the side lines. He was always supporting his boys. He is so proud of the strong men they have grown in to and would be so pleased with the way they have been supporting and caring for his sweetheart, Garnell.

Celebration of Life will be May 11, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Nisqually Pines Club House: 16949 Port Orford Blvd, SE, Yelm, WA.
