John A. Dye, 1953-2025.
John was born February 3, 1953 in Yreka, California to Dorothy Anne Smith Dye 1931-2015. Adopted son of Harold C. Dye 1921-1993 & biological son of Jack Andy Rubidoux 1931-2011.
John was raised in Yreka & Klamath Falls, Oregon attending Klamath Union High School & graduated as class of 1971.
Marriage took place in Klamath Falls on September 8, 1973 to Judy K. Karow, a 1973 KUHS graduate. Our first child Janice L. Dye “Jani” was born January 21, 1977, in Klamath Falls. Always having a fondness for Spokane, Washington, this Dye family moved to Spokane in October 1978. Here our second child Jenifer Dye “Nici” was born February 1980 & then Jeff in February 1983. John’s job opportunity then moved us to Kent (later changed to Covington), Washington.
Some of John’s activities that have kept his interest are model trains, cars, watching drag racing & playing guitar.
Preceded in death by adoptive parents, birth father, daughter Jani 1977-2015; sister Michele Rubidoux 1955-2009. Survived by wife, children Nici Dye-Lazaroff & Jeff Dye; grandchildren: Jacee Dye-Ledbetter & Jaxon Magee.
Cremation by Cady Cremation & Funeral Services, Kent, Washington. No service or memorial per John’s wishes.
