Obituary for Gregory Rhynalds
Gregory Dean Rhynalds, 69, passed away on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 at the VA Puget Sound hospital in Seattle, WA. He fought a hard one year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He will forever be a fighter in our memories.
Greg was born on March 29th, 1949 to William and Melvina (Melba) Rhynalds. He grew up and attended school in the Snoqualmie Valley. He left home at the age of 17 and moved to Wyoming. It was at that time Greg joined the US Army. He was an E-5 Missile Crewman, was stationed in Germany for some of his term and served during the Vietnam War. Greg enjoyed his family and friends, old cars and trucks and loved being at his property at Lake Connor Park. He enjoyed being outdoors splitting firewood, watching fireworks, riding his custom quad, decorating extravagantly for the holiday seasons and loved his sweet treats. He will always be remembered by his immediate family as ‘pops’.
